Adding this spot to our regular breakfast rotation.

Great location right on Post Road. Me and the kiddos got a seat in a booth with some distant, beautiful water views of the bay.

There was literally something on the menu for everyone... And that's saying something dining with the three kids with very different breakfast tastes.

I kept it classy with a beautiful eggs Benedict. Eggs were done perfectly poached easy atop some thinly sliced tender ham and a toasty English. Draped with a delicate hollandaise, I was in heaven with every bite! Eggs Benedict is my fave breakfast food and they did it oh so well.

My son got a fantastic French toast masterpiece... A board special of banana cream pie version that he said was AMAZING. Get a teenage boy smiling at breakfast?! Winning!!!

The chocolate chip pancake kept the tween making yummy sounds.  Get a single because it was gigantic!

Lastly, the youngest got a tender grilled coffee roll that was literally bigger than her noggin. She brought half home and continued eating it for the remainder of the day.

They've got some great looking lunch items. I'd love to come back and check out the lobster roll and fish and chips...

They also offered some brunch adult bevvies which we didn't try but many tables kept them coming on a steady flow.

Lastly, the service was so friendly and the place was spotless!

They did have some outdoor seating with a doggie on the porch. So looks to be pet friendly!

Only thing disappointing is that I didn't come here sooner.

    Great!

Wanted to try this for a while, after a friend recommend it on Facebook and her pictures looked amazing. Took a chance on a cloudy/ drizzly Sunday morning and were pleased to find only a short wait. The place is somewhat unassuming and easy to miss, if you're not looking for it. Parking was a little tight, but enough spaces for their crowd. Outdoor seating (covered) provided a limited ocean view for our wait. Inside, it's bright and cheerful, pristine with a nautical theme. We scored a corner booth and took your time with the menus. Our waitress was Renee and she was great - kept our coffee cups filled and was attentive.

I ordered the Breakfast Pizza, after some deliberation. My date chose the Buzzy, which is the Masthead's version of a hungry man's breakfast, with a little of everything. We had enough food for a family of five, I think! And it was all delicious. The pizza must have had a dozen eggs, plus onions, bacon, cheese and scallions. (Sausage is also included but I requested none, which was a breeze). I assumed, based on the price (under $10) that this was a single entree. Ha! I immediately understood why I saw so many doggy bags leaving during our short wait - unusual at breakfast.  I can honestly say that I got four meals out of this! It was really good.

My date's meal took up most of his half of the table: Three eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hash browns and choice of French toast or pancakes. I sat and watched as he devoured the entire meal...very impressive. It got high praise and was also moderately priced at about $10.

We cannot wait to return for lunch! But, a word to the wise.... When we were leaving, there was a two-hour wait for  Sunday breakfast. So, go early!!!

This is a small  bright, clean and very friendly restaurant. The servers seem to know a lot of the customers, and it seems like a real local place to go. It was decorated with some fun Irish things and a few bunnies for Easter.

The servers greeted us warmly when we came in and told us to sit anywhere. They promptly came over with water and the menus. There
was a sandwich board with all the specials of the day written
out on it. They offer a lot of choices and it was hard to pick. I do want to go back and try their white clam chowder and lobster roll as well

We went for lunch, but they serve breakfast all day, as well as dinner Thursday , Friday and Saturday only. They serve beer, wine and sangria(s).

I ordered the rib eye steak sandwich with mushrooms and upgraded to onion rings . The steak was tender, large and very flavorful - where it lost a point was the roll  they served it on was 2 times smaller than the steak.
I ended up having to fold my steak over and shove it into the roll with a death grip to eat it. They need to  use a bigger and stronger roll to handle the meat. But it was darn good! The onion rings were big, but I thought they were just OK. A bit greasy but no real flavor.

My friend had the HUGE tuna sandwich on white bread with baked apples and said it was delicious. The tuna was fresh, not too much mayo, and she was very happy. hr did not want fries, so they offered her other sides and she got the baked apples. She said those were great. She tried one of the sangrias - maybe the peach and it was a little too sweet for her so she would try another flavor in the future.

We will definitely be back to try more things. The servers seem to love their jobs and customers and it was a delightful atmosphere to relax in.
